I will be resurrected as Jesus has been resurrected

I will be resurrected as Jesus has been resurrected.

I will be resurrected just as Jesus has been resurrected.

I asked how resurrection is expressed in the Nepali

language. Dr. Sujan Jashi answered us in Nepali and

said it is two words instead of one. Easter Sunday

means Jesus died on the cross for our sins but He was

raised three days later because He overcome death. He

is the first fruit of the resurrection. Because He is

living therefore all promises he made for us are

effective eternally. His promises are forgiveness of

your sins and living with God in heaven eternally.

Philippians 3:21 said that Jesus who has all powers

can transform us into being part of His glorious body.

In other words, you and I in Christ will be

resurrected like Jesus was.

Today, I want you to be sure Jesus¡¯ resurrection is

historical fact. Since He was resurrected, he appeared

to his disciples several times. He appeared to five

hundred brothers. Saint Paul said that when he wrote

the Corinthians book, more than half of them still

were alive, and He had many good witnesses he could

assure that Jesus was raised. If the above information

were not true, it would be hard to proclaim the gospel

of Jesus Christ. The Bible said that if there are two

or three good witnesses, it is enough to be true.

Peter was one outstanding disciple but he denied Jesus

three times.  Since he met Jesus resurrected, his

personal character drastically changed and he became a

really good servant for the gospel. After that, he

boldly proclaimed the Gospel and converted so many

thousands to Christ. This is evidence that Jesus was

Saint Paul persecuted many Christians at that time,

but since he met Jesus, he also was changed to become

one of the most outstanding apostles as Peter did.

I challenge all of you make this Easter Sunday to your

own Easter Sunday. Yes, I am sure that I will be

resurrected just as Jesus has been resurrected.

If this will become your true confession, this Easter

Sunday may be the greatest event in your life.

God bless you all!

 Corinthians: 15

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.

6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.

7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,

8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

Philippians 3:

21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
